Backpackers are masters of “traveling light”. Pack a little luggage, and you are ready to go literally. Here are some things most backpackers share in travel patterns:

  • Backpackers travel mainly via public transport.
  • Interrail is still extremely popular for backpacking travel

  • Backpackers carry all their travel belongings in a backpack.
  • Backpackers have traditionally carried their belongings in 30 liters to 60 liters of backpacks, but suitcases with scroll wheels and some less traditional carrying methods have become more common and there has been a tendency to keep the packing weight below 8 to 10 kg limit for most airlines.

At Interrail is young from 12-27 years and adult from 28-59 and then not there.
