Windsor Castle, you will feel right at home

Windsor Castle is Queen Elizabeth’s 2’s weekend home and the place where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s, the beautiful American actress, wedding took place. Take a tour of the 11th-century castle and landscaped gardens and see the sumptuous State Apartments and Semi-State Rooms carefully restored after the 1992 fire. Eton Central. The entrance to the castle is only a five minute walk away.

Kew Gardens is an urban retreat

It is London’s largest UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include the iconic Palm House glass house, the Kew Palace (where King George sought refuge when he got his bouts of madness), a footbridge in the treetops and an arboretum, which is home to approx. 14,000 trees. Are you tired, of asphalt and department stores, then this is the place to visit.

Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent first became famous 400 years ago when the ferocious Chalybeate Spring was discovered, and the socially better circles flocked to the city to ‘cure’ maladies from infertility to hangover. today – in the summer, the water is served by a traditional ‘dipper’ in a Georgian costume. Rinse the healthy water with a GT 🙂

A magical excursion to “Harry Potter Land”

Imerge yourself in the Harry Potter universe at  Warner Bros. Studio Tour  – The Making of Harry Potter. When the very last Harry Potter movie was completed, a magical treasure chamber was left behind, and in 2016, the movie sets opened as an attraction. You can walk down the Diagon Alley, which you will find between two sets of sound, where between original props and costumes you can visit Dumbledore’s office, see the original Hogwarts Express and get your picture on Platform 9. How to get there: Take the train from London Euston to Watford Junction, then a shuttle bus, then you can knock on the door of Hogwarts within 40 minutes.

Take the fast train from Kings Cross and you will be outside Hatfield House, Hertfordshire, within 20 minutes. The main building, the Old Palace, dates back to 1485, when it was owned by Henry the 8th and was the home of Queen Elizabeth the 1st. Hatfield House of the Jacobean Age, on the other hand, was built in 1611. From March 31, you can get a tour of all the buildings, incl. the place where Elizabeth d. 1 discovered that she would one day be the queen of England.
